Our family is blessed to have a beautiful place up on Lake Blue Ridge, and for the past 5 years, Jacin and I have gone up and stayed for a weekend in October. The last 2 years we have enjoyed spending it with Meme & Rayray, too! This year we went to an Arts & Crafts festival in town, enjoyed "wood tromping," visited Mercier's Orchards for some apples, and had fun sitting in front of the fire.

This Halloween season, Bird has seen a commercial on TV that shows a witch flying on a broomstick. He talks about it a lot and recently told Jacin that Meme rides a broom, too. Not sure where he got that, but we decided it's pretty funny!
